2. Here in America, we have informal and formal greetings like they do as well like "salut" is for friends but "bonjour" is for people older than you like adults. In francophone places they include family members such as in las aunts uncles and go into things distant etc.

#2: There are many differences and similarites in greeting from France and America. For example, there is la bise, formal, and informal "Hellos." La Bise is when you greet a friend any friend or family with a kiss on the cheek, while here in America we do that too but not just with anybody but with whom we feel comftorable with, and the Hellos just depends who your talikng to if a complete stranger adult or a family who you get along with really good. Then with your family inFrance it just keeps going and goin to relatives of your uncles and aunts and so on and here in America is your basic family mom dad and older or younger siblings.

2. in America we greet each other with a hello, a handshake or a hug but in France the main difference in the greeting is that the people that know each other give each other la bise, (two air kisses on the cheeks). in France they refer to family as every possible relation from bllod to in laws bit on America we only count blood related family memebers as family.
